MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Mildred Lois Robinson Woody, 5 Feb 2005

SPRUCE PINE - Mildred Lois Robinson Woody, 76, of the Estatoe community, died
Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005 in Spruce Pine Community Hospital. She was the daughter
of the late Sam and Lillie Thomas Robinson. She was also preceded in death by
an infant grandson, Dennis Woody Jr., brothers, Harold, James and Dewey
Robinson, and a sister, Inez Anglin.

Survivors include her husband, Dock Woody of the home; daughter, Sandra
Hoilman; sons, Glenn and Bruce Woody, both of Marion, and Dennis Woody of
Spruce Pine; brothers, Brown and Wyman Robinson, both of Burnsville, D.A.
"Eldon" and Ira Robinson, both of Double Island, Dorian Robinson of Salisbury,
Lloyd Robinson of Chicopee, MA; a sister, Ila Kay Farris of Lebanon, VA; 12
grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Holcombe
Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Nathan Silver officiated. Burial was in Double
Island Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-9 p.m.
Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations toward medical expenses may be
made to Lois Woody Memorial Fund, Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, c/o Rev. Nathan
Silver, 195 Gouges Creek Road, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
