Henline-Hughes Funeral Home
Warfield Yelton, age 82 of Ollis Road Spruce Pine NC, passed away May 20, 2008 
at his home. He was the son of the late William and Texie Hughes Yelton and a 
native of Mitchell County, NC. He was retired from The Feldspar Corporation, 
and a member of Pine Branch Baptist Church. 

Survivors include; daughters, Patsy Louallen Braswell and husband Danny, of 
Spruce Pine NC, and Teresa Marie Robinson, and husband Gary, of Spruce Pine, 
NC, son Reverend James "Buster" Yelton, and wife Janie, of Spruce Pine NC, 
sisters, Dolly Jones, of Hickory, NC, Minnie Hoilman, of Bakersville, NC, 
brother, Frank Yelton, of Bakersville, NC, five grandchildren, and six great 
grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by; wife Hazel Grindstaff Yelton, sisters, Bonnie 
Buchanan, and Polly Hoilman, brothers, Woodrow, Pierce, James, and Bill Yelton. 

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 22 at 8:00PM in the chapel of 
Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Steve Williams, Larry Beam, and Buster 
Yelton officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the 
service. Interment will be Friday, May 23 at 11:00AM at Spruce Pine Memorial 
Cemetery. 

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of Mitchell County PO 
Box 38 Spruce Pine NC 28777, or Gideons International.
