MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Charles Richard Yelton, 2 Feb 2005

BAKERSVILLE - Charles Richard Yelton, 70, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005 at
Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville. He was the son of the late Jess and
Ola Mae Benfield Yelton. He was a member of The New Day House of Prayer.

Survivors include three sisters, Lois Ann Gouge of Bakersville, Mae Wallace of
New Market, TN, and Carrie Hoyle of Spruce Pine; and three brothers, Dallas
yelton of Spruce Pine, and Roger Dean and J.D. Yelton, both of Alexandria, VA.


Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes
Funeral Home in Bakersville. Revs. Joe Brown and Ronnie Gouge officiated.
Burial was in Russ Memorial Cemetery. The family received friends from 1 p.m.
until the service hour at the funeral home.
