EDWIN A. YOUNG
BAKERSVILLE – Edwin A. Young, 72, of Welaka, FL, died Sunday, June 30, 
2002 at his residence. A native of Mitchell County, he was the son of 
the late P.W. and Hettie Young. He was also preceded in death by his 
brothers, Charles, John and Leo Young. He had been employed by Bethlehem 
Steel Corporation and was a member of Free Masonary and Moose Lodge of 
Pamona, FL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a brother, Billy Young of White Hall, MD; three sisters, 
Jennie Lee Anderson of Pasadena, MD, Virginia Bach of Cocoa, FL, and 
Betty Marquardt of White Hall, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Thursday in Johnson City, TN. Dr. 
Victor C. Young officiated. Burial was at 1 p.m. Friday in Washington 
Memorial Gardens. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at 
the Fountain of Life Bible Church in Johnson City.
