DENNIS WILSON YOUNG

BAKERSVILLE - Dennis Wilson Young, 80, of Nora Lane, died 
Friday, Sept. 26, 2003 at Memorial Mission Hospital in 
Asheville. He was the son of the late Ralph and Mae Thomas 
Young. A retired farmer, he was a member of Roan Mountain 
Baptist Church and a U.S. Coast Guard veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Willis Young of the home; 
one brother, Emmett Young of Bakersville; and three nephews.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of 
Henline-Hughes Funeral Home. Revs. Mark McKinney and Max Holland 
officiated. Burial was in Green Young Cemetery. The family 
received friends from 2 p.m. until the service hour at the 
funeral home.
