MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - WILLS - William J. Street, 9 Jun 1886 ----¤¤¤¤---- LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT State of N.C., Mitchell County WILLIAM J. STREET Know all by the presents that I WILLIAM J. STREET of the County and State aforesaid, being well advanced in years and somewhat impaired health, but sound in mind, and having in view the uncertainty of life. I do this the 9th day of June, 1886 ordain and make this my last will and testament of my property, both real and personal. First It is my desire when I am dead that my body receive a decent Christian burial, and be consigned to dust and my _____ to God who gave it. Second I will and bequeath to by beloved wife REBECCA and MANDY her daughter and the heirs of her body all of my property both personal and real estate including lands, houses, household and kitchen furniture, all livestock, tools (?) with all notes and income of every description whatever to their sole use. Third And I hereby appoint and constitute MANDY who is one of the foregoing legatees to be my executor of this will if it be agreeable with her and her mother REBECCA STREET with full _____ to carry out the bequest and requirements of this will according to _____.
