MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - WILLS - George M. Young, 18 Sep 1939 ----¤¤¤¤---- Will of George M. Young North Carolina Mitchell County I, George M. Young, of the aforesaid County and State, being of sound mind, but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence, do make and declare this my last will and testament; FIRST My executor hereinafter named shall give my body a decent burial, suitable to the wishes of my friends and relatives, and pay all funeral expenses together with all my just debts out of the first moneys which may come into his or her hands belonging to my estate. SECOND I give and devise to my beloved wife ELLA YOUNG, all my real property of every kind and description, and wherever situated during her natural life, the remainder to my children and grand children as follows: A) to W. B. YOUNG the land at Red Hill comprising the I. H. BAILEY and J. D. PETERSON tracks, on the Rock Creek side of the ridge, containing about 65 acres. Excepting the timber on said lands which is to be sold as hereafter provided. And 1/2 undivided interest in my store house and lot and Barber Shop house and lot in the town of Bakersville, N.C. B) to my daughter INEZE YOUNG BLEVINS, a 1/2 interest in my store house and lot and barber shop house and lot in the town of Bakersville, N.C. And my home place where I now live including the Pritchard lands adjoining the same. C) to W. B. YOUNG and INEZE YOUNG BLEVINS the 23 acre tract of land which I got from my father, R. J. YOUNG, adjacent the lands of N. B. WOODY, MACK GOUGE, and MRS. W. L. LAMBERT, share and share alike. D) to ROBERT LEE BLEVINS, GEORGE BLEVINS and JAMES BLEVINS my tract of land comprising the lots which I purchased from ALICE BLEVINS, adjacent the lands of W. M. MASTERS, T. D. BLEVINS, and SAM McKINNEY, share and share alike. E) The timber on Red Hill lands above mentioned, if not sold at my death, to be sold by my excecutor, and the money arising therefrom to be held by my wife during her life time and at her death $100 to go to my grand daughter, HATTIE YOUNG, and the remainder to be equally divided between my son, W. B. YOUNG and my daughter INEZE YOUNG BLEVINS THIRD I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, ELLA YOUNG, all my personal property of every kind and description and wherever situated, during her natural life to be used by her for her support, maintenance, and comfort as she may see fit and what remains at her death, if any, to be equally divided between my said children, W. B. YOUNG and INEZE YOUNG BLEVINS. It is my wish that if my stock of merchandise has not been sold at my death, the same shall be sold by my executor, the account _____ and the money arising therefrom to go to my wife ELLA YOUNG, and to be governed by section 3, paragraph 1 of this will. FOURTH I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife ELLA YOUNG, my sole and lawfully executrix, to all intents and purposes, to execute this my last will and testament, according to the true intent and meaning of same and every part and clause thereof hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made.
