Haywood Cemetery

This small family cemetery is located off HWY 731 on Thickety 
Creek Road, Montgomery County, NC, in a wooded area across 
from the Haywood House, about thirty yards from the highway.

There also appears to be several unmarked graves.  It has been 
reported that William Haywood’s first wife, Elizabeth Robinson, 
is buried to his left, but there is no marker.
