THOMAS FAY ET AL
     vs.
JOHNSTON NOBLES

Petition for Partition of Land

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the 
defendant, JOHNSTON NOBLES, is not a resident of this State. It is therefore 
ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the 
North Carolina Journal  notifying the said non-resident to be and appear at 
our next Court to be held for the County of Montgomery at the Court House in 
Lawrenceville, on the first Monday in April next, then and there to plaed 
answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro 
confesso and the matter heard ex parte as to them.
