Montgomery County, February Term, 1852

EZEKIAL HALTOM, BRANTLEY HALTOM, PINKNEY HALTOM, JAMES ALLEN and wife, POSEY 
     and others
        vs.
ISAAC HALTOM, GREEN HALTOM,, NEILL JONES and wife, CAROLINE, and SPENCER EPPS

Petition for the sale of lands of the late CHARLES HALTOM

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that ISAAC HALTOM, 
GREEN HALTOM, NEILL JONES and wife, CAROLINE, and SPENCER EPPS reside beyond 
the limits of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publications be made for six successife weeks in the North Carolina "Argus", 
printed in the town of Wadesborough, N. c., notifying said defendants, non-
residents, to be and appear at our next Court of Equity to be held at the 
Court House in Troy on the last Monday in August next. Then and there to 
plead, answer or demur to this petition filed: Otherwise judgment will be 
taken pro confesso and heard ex parte as to them. Witness JAMES L. GAINES, 
Clerk and Master of the said Court at office the last Monday in February, A. 
D.,1852.
