STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA  COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSIONS  MONTGOMERY COUNTY
April Term, 1829

JAMES LEGRAND, Adm'r of SAM'L DUNN, deceased
                   vs.
THE HEIRS-AT-LAW of SAMUEL DUNN

Petition for Sale of Land

In this case it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that SAMUEL DUNN, 
JAMES DAVIS and wife, Heirs At Law of Samuel Dunn, Deceased, reside beyond the 
limits of this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be 
made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Journal notifying the 
Defendants, SAMUEL DUNN,  and JAMES DAVIS and wife, Heirs At Law of SAMUEL 
DUNN , Deceased, to be and apear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions 
to be held for the County of Montgomery at Lawrenceville on the first Monday 
in July next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. 
Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte as to them.
