Roper in right of his deceased wife Rebecka J. & William Haywood Guardian Adlitum for W. C. Green and Robt. Green In accordance with order of (unreadable) in this court & notice to parties duly served. The plaintiff in person and by council B. T. Simmons & the defendants William Haywood and William Roper approved at the office of the clerk in the Town of Troy on the 12th day of August A. D. 1872 where the following proceedings were had. William Haywood for plaintiff being duly sworn disposes and says that Howell D. Green died about the first day of October A. D. 1870 and that to his best impression the said Howell D. Green was then twenty one years old. W. Haywood Sworn before Mr. C. C. Wade, CofC The Deft William T. Roper being duly sworn disposes and says that he was married to Rebecka J. Green on the 12th day of August or September 1867 and that she was then about fifteen years and four months of age. That she died on or about the 1st of July A. D. 1869. W. T.
