JORDAN MORRIS 
   vs. 
NANCY MORRIS

Petition for Divorce

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the 
defendant, NANCY MORRIS, resides beyond the limits of this State: It is 
therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive 
weeks in the Wadesborough "Argus" notifying said defendant to be and appear at 
our next Superior Court of Law for the County of Montgomery to be held at the 
Court House at Troy on the last Monday in February next. Then and there to 
plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be 
taken pro confesso and heard ex parte as to her. Witness CALVIN W. WOOLEY, 
Clerk of the said Court at office on the last Monday in August, A. D. 1848, in 
the 73rd year of our American Independence.
