Robert Green Petition to Equity Court

State of North Carolina Montgomery County
In Equity

To the Honorable the Judge of the Court of Equity in and for said
County. The Petition of Robert Green, James Bowden and wife Jane,
Garrett Parker and wife Priscilla and Thomas Green and Howell Green
infant who viz. By their guardian and next friend Nathan T. Bowden.
Humbly ??? to your Honor your Petitioners Robert Green, James Bowden
and wife Jane, Garrett Parker  and wife Priscilla and Thomas Green
and Howell Green by their guardian and next friend N. T. Bowden that
Howell Green died in the spring of the year 1846 intestate (three
words unreadable) of a tract of land ??? lying and being in the
County of Montgomery being and adjoining the land of ??? Pool and ???
Pool and containing by estimation one hundred and fifty acres which
land by the death of said Howell Green descend to his heirs at law
which heirs at law are your Petitioners Robert Green who is a brother
of the deceased, your Petitioner Jane Bowden who is a sister of the
decd Howell Green and is in turn ??? with your Petitioner James
Bowden, your Petitioner Priscilla who is the sister of the decd
Howell Green and is (three word unreadable) your Petitioner Garrett
Parker and your Petitioners Thomas Green and Howell Green  who are
the only children of Claiborne Green who was also a brother of the
decd Howell Green, to which with Thomas and Howell Nathan T. Bowden
was duly appointed and ??? as guardian, that the decd Howell Green
left no other brothers or sisters or ??? of ??? living at his death
or the ??? of ???.  That the said tract of land is altogether too
small to admit if division among your Petitioners so as it admit of
each tract being of any value when so divided, that the said land is
at ??? entirely unproductive to your petitioners that your said
petitioners desire to have each of his or her portion of the said
land as it ??? and that it is the manifest interest of your said to
sell the ??? and divide the proceeds among them and especially that
the interests of your infant petitioners would be materially and
especially protected by the sale of said land. Wherefore your
Petitioners pray you Honor that by a decree of this Honorable Court
the said land may be ??? to sale by the Clerk and Master of this
Honorable Court upon such times as this Honorable Court may direct
and that the proceeds arising from the said sale being divided among
your Petitioners according to their respective rights and that your
Petitioners may have such other land further ??? their case being ???
and to you Honor may (three unclear words)  and you Petitioners write
(three unclear words),
