Town Monthly Minutes Troy, N. C. Page 109 May 30, 1911 The Commissioners for the town of Troy met in regular session on aboved named date, the following members being present: W. A. Cochran Mayor R. T. Poole Chairman Dr. J. A. Sisk Dr. S. H. McCall Commissioners Z. F. Cranford Marshall Ordered, That Edwards and Broughton be allowed $3.50 for Books, Tax Receipts as per statement rendered. Ordered by the board, that the town Marshall be required to give a bond in the sum of $750.00 for collecting taxes in the town of Troy, the amount of school tax bonds to be fixed by Trustees of Troy Graded School. Ordered by the board that process bond presented by Z. F. Cranford be accepted and the same is ordered approved. Ordered by the board, that the board of town commissioners of Troy meet the first Monday Night in each month in the office of the County Superintendent of Public Instruction in the Court House.
