Town Monthly Minutes Page 110 Troy, N. C. July 3, 1911 The Commissioners for the town of Troy met in regular session on the above date, the following members being present: W. A. Cochran, Mayor J. C. Hurley} Commissioner R. T. Poole } Commissioner Dr. J. A. Sisk} Commissioner Dr. S. H. McCall} Commissioner Z. F. Cranford, Marshall W. A. Cochran tendered his registration as Mayor of Troy which is accepted by the Commissioners. On Motion of R. T. Poole, Dr. J. A. Sisk was appointed Mayor Pro Term by the Commissioners. Ordered by the Commissioners that J. C. Hurley, Town Treasurer, use his discretion in securing whatever pharphernalia that the Marshall may need in the execution of his office. Ordered that the Town Marshall be allowed pay for one months services at the rate of $1.25 per day. There being no further business, the board adjourned until the next regular meeting day. J. C. Aug. 7, 1911 The Commissioners for town of Troy met in regular session date above written in conjunction with Trustees of Troy Graded School the following members being present: Dr. J. A. Sisk, Mayor, Pro term R. T. Poole} commissioner J. C. Hurley} commissioner Dr. S. H. McCall} commissioner Z. F. Cranford, Marshall Ordered that in election be held on Tuesday Oct. 3, 1911 to determine whether bonds not exceeding $20.00 shall be issued for Troy Graded School Building, The Board adjourned until tomorrow night.
