Mrs. Talbott was one of Lexington's oldest residents, having lived here for more than forty years. She was a member of the Methodist church and the summons found her ready to meet her Maker. She leaves seven children, three daughters and four sons, being Mrs. Isaac Whitsett and Mrs. Catherine Thomas of Higginsville; Mrs. Rebecca Van Sickles, of Macon, Messrs. Isaac, Butler and Harvey, of Lexington and Nathan of Richmond. Her funeral was held at her late residence Tuesday afternoon, her pastor, Rev. J. C. Given, officating.
