James Pool Marriage
State of North Carolina, Montgomery County/
TO ANY Regular Minister of the Gospel having the cure of souls, 
of whatever Denomination; Or to any Justice of the Peace of said 
County:
You, or any of you, are hereby authorized and empowered To 
Celebrate and solemnize the Rites of Matrimony between
James Pool, son of Miles pool and Charity pool
AND
Elizabeth O. Bruton, daughter of James T. Bruton and Jane 
Bruton
And join them together as Man and Wife.
Witness, P.H. Morris, Clerk of our Court of Pleas and 
Commissioners at Office in Troy, the 17 day of October 1868, 
and in the 93rd year of our Independence.

THIS CERTIFIES THAT James Pool son of Miles Pool and 
Charity Pool and Elizabeth O. Bruton, daughter of James T. 
Bruton and Jane Bruton were, by me, united in the Bonds of 
Matrimony, on the 18th day of October, 1868.
