State of North Carolina, Montgomery County.
To any regular Minister of the Gospel having the cure of souls, of 
whatever Denomination; or to any Justice of the Peace of said 
County:
You, or any of you, are hereby authorized and empowered To 
Celebrate and solemnize the rites of Matrimony between
Thomas L. Mullinix, son of Jessie Mullinix and Caroline Mullinix 
AND
Mary Jane Cranford, daughter of John Cranford and Mary 
Cranford
AND JOIN THEM TOGETHER AS MAN AND WIFE.
Witness, C.C. Wade Clerk of our said Court of Pleas and Quarter 
Sessions, at Office in Troy, the 4th day of April 1868 and in the 92 
year of our Independence.

THIS CERTIFIES THAT Thos. L. Mullinix son of Jessie 
Mullinix and Caroline Mullinix and Mary Jane Cranford, 
daughter of John Cranford and Mary Cranford were, by me, 
united in the Bonds of Matrimony, on the 5th day of April A.D. 
1868, conformably to the Ordinance of God and the Laws of State
