Elliott, Montee Morgan by his guardian L.M. Russell are the heirs of Casandra Sanders Sworn in court December 18, 1887 H.M. Thayer selected to be the administrator North Carolina Montgomery County Superior Court before the Clerk In the matter of N.M. Thayer Adm. of Casandra Sanders estate - Petition to sell personal property for cash To the Clerk of Superior Court Petitioners showeth That is would best subserve the interest of the heirs at law o& creditors of the Estate of said Cassandra Saunders deceased to sell the personal property belonging to said estate for cash, because said property would sell for about the same in cash as an credit of six months the property being corn & wheat (rents made are the dower lands of said deceased) & a majority of the bidders would be better prepared to pay cash at this season of the year that to give land & pay in six months. Wherefore your petitioner pray for an order allowing them to sell said property for cash This Nov. 11, 1890 N.M. Thayer Administrator of the estate of Casandra Sanders, deceased N.M. Thayer petitioner being duly sworn says that the facts stated in the above petition are true of his own knowledge, except those stated upon information & as to those he believes them to be true. Thayer adm. of the estate of Cassandra Sanders deceased, have filed in this office a petition showing reason satisfactory to the court for selling the personal property belonging to the estate of Cassandra Sanders deceased for cash. It is ordered and adjudged that the said N.M. Thayer adm. shall have license to sell said property to the highest bidder for cash after twenty? Days notice posted at the Court House door & four other public place in Montgomery County. It is further ordered that the said N.M.
