MOORE  COUNTY               October Term , 1846

Vs.

DAVIS ARNOLD et al

Petition to Propound the Last Will and Testament of SOLOMAN ARNOLD, deceased

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the  defendants,  DAVIS 
ARNOLD, ROBERT ARNOLD and MARTHA ARNOLD, his wife; DUDLEY HOUSE and MARY 
HOUSE, his wife, and DUDLEY HOWZE, SR., are not inhabitants  of this state: it 
is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive 
weeks in the Patriot, a newspaper printed in Greensboro, that unless the said 
Defendants appear at our next Court to be held for the County of Moore in the 
Court House at Carthage on the 4th  Monday in January   1847,   then and there 
to shew cause or make objection, if any there be , wherefore the paper writing 
purporting to be the last will and testament of SOLOMON ARNOLD, deceased, 
shall not be admitted to probate.
 Witness, ALEXANDER C. CURRY, Clerk of said Court, at office on the 4th Monday 
in   October A.D., 1846.
