MOORE  COUNTY                 July Term , 1846

ANGUS MARTIN 

Vs.

JAMES D. PHILLIPS et al 

Scire facias against the Heirs of LAUCHLIN McNEILL, deceased, to sell real 
estate

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the  defendants, JAMES D. 
PHILLIPS and SARAH PHILLIPS, his wife; ----- McGEE and MARY JANE McGEE, his 
wife, WILLIAM McNEILL, JOHN McNEILL and CHARLES C. McNEILL, are not 
inhabitants  of this state: it is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, a newspaper 
printed in Greensboro, that unless the said Defendants appear at our next 
Court to be held for the County of Moore in the Court House at Carthage on the 
4th  Monday in October next ,   then and there to shew cause, if any they 
have, wherefore the Plaintiff shall not have judgment and execution against 
the real estate of the deceased, in their hands as heirs at law of LAUGHLIN 
McNEILL, deceased.

Witness, ALEXANDER C. CURRY, Clerk of said Court, at office on the 4th Monday 
in   July A.D., 1846.
