MURDOCK MURCHISON et al
         vs.
WILLIAM T. ENGLAND

Petition 
Pursuant to a Degree of the Court of Equity for Moore County will be exposed 
to public sale, at the Court House in Carthage, on the third Monday in 
February next, the tract of land where RODERICK MURCHISON formerly lived, with 
two dwelling house and a hatter shop, lying on the Governor's Creek, 
containing by estimation 50 acres. One other tract lying on the waters of the 
Racoon, adjoining the lands of MALCOLM MCGILVRAY and others, containing by 
estimation 350 acres -- One other tract called the COLE tract on the waters of 
Governor's Creek, adjoining the lands of JAMES JACKSON and others containing 
by estimation 125 acres. One other tract called the JONES tract, lying on the 
waters of Governor's Creek, adjoining the land of GEORGE M. REA and others, 
containing by estimation 100 acres, supposed to adjoin the land of EDWARD 
McINTOSH. One other tract lying on the waters of Little Pocket Creek, 
adjoining the land of JOSIAH TYSON, containing by estimation 125 acres by the 
same, more or less. A credit of one and two years will be given the purchasers 
by giving bond with approved security.
