Moore County
   Know all men by these present, That Whereas by Virtue of a Decree of the 
Court of Pleas, and Quarter Sessions, for the County of Moore authorizing the 
sale of certain Slaves therein named and belonging to the Estate of the late 
John Tyson, by Thomas B. Tyson, his Executor, made at April Term 1852.  I the 
said Thomas B. Tyson in strict conformity with the directions in the said 
decree contained, and after due advertisement offered, and sold, the said 
Slaves, at public auction on the (blank) day of (blank) 1852, when Alexander 
Kelly became the last, and highest bidder, for Amy, at the price of Seventy 
five dollars for Fanny at the price of Three hundred and forty dollars And for 
Joe at the price of Five hundred, and fifty dollars.  Now therefore for and in 
consideration of the premises, and the sum of Nine hundred & sixty five 
dollars to me in hand paid by the said Alexander Kelly.  I the said Thomas B. 
Tyson as Executor of John Tyson deceased, have bargained, and sold, and do by 
these present bargain, and sell the said Slaves, Amy, Aged about 60_years. 
Fanny aged 7_years and Joe Aged about 11 years to the said Alexander Kelly, 
his Executors, and Administrators.  And I hereby warrant the title of the said 
Slaves, so far as I am required to do as Executor as aforesaid, and no 
further.  In Testimony whereof I do hereunto set my hand, and Seal this 31st 
day of May__A.D. 1852__

Moore County Court October Term 1852.  The Execution of the foregoing Bill of 
Sale was directly acknowledged in open Court by Thomas B. Tyson Exr who makes 
thereof and ordered to be registered.    A.C. Curry Clerk

Registered in the Registrar's office of Moore County Book A.M. page 253.  John 
Shaw Regr.
