    vs.
JACOB HOLLY

Original Attachment on 100 acres of Land

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the court that the 
defendant, JACOB HOLLY, resides beyond the limits of this State: It is 
therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive 
weeks in the North Carolinian, a newspaper published in the town of 
Fayetteville, notifying the said defendant to be and appear at the next Court 
of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for Moore County in the Court House at 
Carthage on the fourth Monday in July, then and there to plead, answer or 
demur to this petition filed: Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso 
and the matter will be heard ex parte as to them. Witness ALEXANDER H. 
MCNEILL, Clerk of the said Court at office in Carthage on the fourth Monday in 
April, A. D. 1854.
