The Georgia Enterprise September 12, 1889
A CONDENSED ACCOUNT OF WHAT IS GOING ON OF IMPORTANCE IN THE SOUTHERN STATES.

     The courthouse of Moore County, N. C., at Carthage, together with all the 
county records, was completely destroyed by fire Thursday. There is a general 
belief that the fire was of incendiary origin. The loss falls heavily upon the 
county, and will, of course, cause litigation.

The Georgia Enterprise was published in Newton County, Georgia, up to 1905.
