JOSEPH HARRISON STUTTS
Born: October 20, 1933
Died: February 23, 2016

Franklin, Va. Joseph H. Stutts, 82, died on February 23rd. He is survived by his 
devoted and beloved wife, Nancy, and children, Sheriff John “Jack” Stutts 
(Alice), R. Lawrence Stutts (Ann), Sherwood Dixon (Steve), Douglas Stutts, and 
grand and great grandchildren.
  He was a sergeant of infantry in the Korean Campaign, and after graduating from 
Randolph-Macon College and following ten years with the U.S. Department of 
Agriculture he was for almost thirty years Manager of Community Relations for 
Union Camp Corporation at Franklin with responsibilities in Virginia, North and 
South Carolina.
  A service will be in Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Franklin at 1pm Saturday, 
February 27, 2016. Interment will be private.
  In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Rector’s Discretionary Fund, 
Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 400 North High Street, Franklin, VA 23851
  Wright Funeral Home of Franklin is assisting the family.
