I Benjamin Britt of the county of Moore and State of North Carolina being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God do this 26th day of July in the year of our Lord 1810 make and publish this my last Will and Testament in mannor and form following that is to say First. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Nancy Britt all my goods and chattels and the plantation whereon I now live with the profits of the Harvil place except such as must be sold to pay my debts if the crop on hand should be insufficient and except the land herein after mentioned for and during her natural life or widowhood and if She married the whole to be divided between her and my six children equally (to wit) Behuver Britt Ispthu Brit Buldu Britt Edwin Britt Tinatu Britt and Handay Britt and at her death the whole to be divided equally between the above named six children Secondly. I give and bequeath to the orphan children of my Brother Rial Britt deceased all the land on the north and west of Mill Creek that formerly belonged to said Rial Britt except the Bant field and it is my desire that Rodah Brit widow of said Rial Britt have the profit of said land so long as she remains his widow and at her death or marriage to be equally divided between the above orphans (to wit) Avington Brit Prulellah Britt Billasant Britt Claramon Britt Becum Britt Tinsay Britt & I hereby make and ordain my worthy friend Joseph Allin Executor of this my last will and Testament in Witness whereof the said Benjamin Britt have to this last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this day and year first above written Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Benjamin Britt the testator as his last will and Testament in the presents of us who were present at the time of signing and sealing thereof Benjamin (his mark) Britt - drawn seal F.
