Braswell Strickland Family Bible
 
Braswell Strickland, born about 1766, was the son of Sampson and Christiana 
Strickland. He married Martha Polly (Patty) Strickland, daughter of Elisha 
Strickland, probably about 1792. Braswell died sometime after 1833, as he 
was listed as being present at an estate sale. The following is from a 
photostat copy of family information from Braswell Strickland's Bible. It 
was passed down to D'Ann from her grandfather, Alexander Bunn Strickland, 
who worked on genealogy in the 1920s and 1930s.

Dillelah Strickland, daughter of Braswel Strickland was borned 4th day of 
   November AD, 1793

Hilliard Strickland was borned 8th of March 1795

Hartney and Rutha Strickland was borned 6th of January 1797

Willy Strickland was borned 17th of November 1798

Wright Strickland was borned 8th of May 1800

Zelley Strickland was borned 30th of January 1802

Delaney Strickland was borned 27th of October 1803
