Two markers are leaning against a large tree; one is for great-great-grandmother Elizabeth Taylor Drake Harrison who died December 12, 1852, wife of James Harrison 1799-1892. I did not identify a marker for James. The other marker against the tree appears to be W.O. or W.D. Harrison, this marker was broken and difficult to read. Two additional markers; one seemed to say J.A.H. could be James or his father John, I don’t know as I saw no dates visible. I was not able to see/read any markings on the second small marker. These markers stand maybe a foot tall from the ground. Please note that another listing for the Harrison Cemetery lists Elizabeth Louise Harrison and Nancy Reynolds Harrison as children of John and Martha and as being buried at this site; that is incorrect; they were John and Martha’s grand-children, children of my grandparents James and Mary Adelaide (Daisy) Harrison and are buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Charlotte, NC. These two girls were my father’s sisters and died as children.
