In the August 1804 Court of Nash County, John Morgan Jr. was appointed 
Overseer of the Roads to replace Lazarous Strickland.

In August 1808 Court of Nash County, Elisha Whitfield was appointed Overseer 
of the Road to replace John Morgan Jr.
