Nash County, NC - John Hunt & Others - Act to Legitimate

An Act to alter the names and legitimate John Hunt, and others

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, 
and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That John
Hunt, William Henry Hunt, Elizabeth Hunt and Sarah S. Hunt, children
of Henry Harrison ahnd Rebecca Harrison, of Nash county, born out of
wedlock, be, and they are hereby legitimated, in as ample a manner
as if born in wedlock; and that they shall hereafter be known and
called by the names of John Harrison, William Henry Harrison, Elizabeth
Harrison and Sarah S. Harrison, and that they shall be heirs at law, 
and next of kin, in the same manner, and to all intents and purposes,
as if born in lawful wedlock; any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
