Division of the lands of James Morgan, deceased, by commissioners, May 8, 
1863, in two separate tracts.   In the first tract, Lot #1 was drawn by E. H. 
Morgan; Lot #2 by Thomas C. Colson in right of his wife, Jincy; Lot #3 by 
Abijah Morgan; Lot #4 by the heirs of Abijah Morgan.   Each lot contained 68 
acres.   The land was on Toisnot Swamp and Wheeler Swamp adjoining Griffin 
Bird, Matthew Stallings, the heirs of Elizabeth Morgan, and H. H. Glover.   In 
the second tract, Lot #1 was drawn by E. H. Morgan; Lot #2 by Abijah Morgan; 
Lot #3 to Thomas C. Colson in right of his wife Jincy; Lot #4 by the heirs of 
A. Morgan.   Each lot contained 42 acres.   The land adjoined that of Finch, 
Smith, and Morgan Perry.   Reg. May Term 1863 (Nash County Deed Book 22, page 
136).
