In the May 1811 Court of Nash County, John Morgan Jr. was approved Overseer of 
the Roads from John Taylor's to Edward York's ford and that the hands of 
Nathan Williams, Jesse Hamilton and Hudson Ferrell would work under him to 
open the said road.

Jurors for the August 1811 Court term included among others John Morgan Jr.
