The Standard of Raleigh, Jan. 13, 1864
NORTH CAROLINA -- Nash County -- Petition to sell real estate for assets -- B. 
H. SORSBY, administrator of RICHARD H. DOZIER vs. JOHN DOZIER, L. DOZIER, G. 
W. WARD and wife, POLLY, WILLIAM COLSON and wife, NANCY, C. H. GLOVER and 
wife, ELIZABETH.
   It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court  that LEONARD DOZIER, one of 
the defendants in this cause resides beyond the limits of the State, it is 
therefore, on motion, ordered by the Court that advertisement be made for six 
weeks in the Raleigh Standard, notifying the said defendant of the filing of 
this petition, and that unless he appear at the next term of this Court to be 
held for the County of Nash, at the Courthouse in the town of Nashville, on 
the 2nd Monday in February 1864 and answer the petition or the same will be 
taken pro confesso and heard ex parte as to him.
Witness B. H. SORSBY, Clerk of said Court, at office in Nashville, 2nd Monday 
in November A.D. 1863.
