   COL. JOHN H. DRAKE of Nash and ELICK SANDERS, ESQ. of Johnston are 
appointed Clerks of the Superior Courts for their respective Counties. MR. 
ARRINGTON of Nash, MR. EDWIN SMITH of Johnston and DR. HARE of Granville, are 
appointed Clerks and Masters in Equity for their relative counties.
