Thurs. Feb. 3, 1859   North Carolina Argus 1859
   MR. WILLIAM T. BRYAN of Nash County  recently lost one of his children from 
the effect of eating a small piece of jessamine vine. An older child likewise 
chewed the vine but recovered. Neither of the children suffered pain, but 
appeared to be powerfull narcotized.
