Nashville -- Ruby Virginia Batchelor Baines, 84, died Tuesday, November 2, 
1999.  She was born February 13, 1915 in Nash County the daughter of the late 
Larry Craford and Emma Coggins Batchelor.  She was a member of the White Oak 
Methodist Church.  Mrs. Baines was preceded in death by her husband, Leon 
Baines.

Surviving:  sons and daughters-in-law, Milton and Betty Stallings of Raleigh, 
Larry and Linda Barnes of Nashville and Mike and Barbara Barnes of Charlotte; 
daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Ralph Keys of Bowie, MD and Dianne and Don 
Puryear of Raleigh; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and 
two great-great grandchildren; brothers, Raymond Batchelor and William 
Batchelor of Nashville; sister, Mazell Pridgen of Nashville.

Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 1999 at Johnson 
Chapel of Nashville.  Burial followed in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Additional Comments:
Deceased is my aunt.  I just received a copy of the obituary, but it did not 
include the source and date of publication.

Her father's middle name was "Crawford", not "Craford"; her mother's maiden 
name was "Coggin", not "Coggins".
