William A. Batchelor NASHVILLE - William A. Batchelor, 87, passed away, 
Thursday, April 23, 2009. He was born August 25, 1921 in Nash County. He was 
the son of the late, Larry and Emma Coggin Batchelor. He will be cherished by 
his family and will be remembered by many for his master craftsmanship in 
custom built furniture. He was preceded in death by four sisters and two 
brothers.    He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 65 years, Odell 
Batchelor, one son, Jerry Batchelor and wife Vicky of Nashville, three 
daughters, Linda Bryant and husband Terry of Nashville, Gail Coley and husband 
Randy of Nashville, Peggy Turner and Joe Everette of Rocky Mount, one sister, 
Mazell Pridgen of Nashville, seven grandchildren , many great- grandchildren 
and great-great grandchildren.    Visitation will be Friday, April 24, 2009 
from 7:00-8:30PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 
Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home 
with Rev. Walt Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery 
of Nashville.     Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Momeyer
