Mr. Batchelor was a land owner and farmer in the Momeyer Community and he was a member of the White Oak Methodist Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Emma Coggins Batchelor of the home Route 2, Nashville; three sons, Lee Batchelor of Rocky Mount, Raymond and William Batchelor, both of Nashville; five daughters, Mrs. Ruby Baines, Mrs. Thelma Stallings, Mrs. Ozell Moss and Mrs. Mazell Pridgen, all of Nashville, Mrs. R. J. Everett of Newport News, VA; 24 grandchildren; one brother, Henry Batchelor of Sanford; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Sutton of Rocky Mount, and Mrs. Milton Finch of Bailey. Funeral services will be held from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in charge of the Rev. J. E. Wood, a former pastor, assisted by the Rev. A. C. Regan, the present pastor. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville. Additional Comments: His wife's maiden name was "Coggin", not "Coggins". The daughter, Mrs. R. J.
