Raleigh Standard, 3 Aug. 1863
   DIED, of Typhoid Fever, at his residence near Jackson, Miss., in the 54th 
year of his age, MR. JOHN WILLIAMS BODDIE. He was born in the County of Nash 
and on attaining manhood removed to Mississippi, where he was a planter.
