Departed this life on Friday morning, Mrs. Elizabeth Collins, consort of 
Michael Collins of Nash County. She has left a disconsolate husband, five 
children, numerous connection and extensive acquantance to bemoan her loss. 
Society has lost one of its ornaments. She was a pattern for her sex. She was 
a dutiful wife and affectionate mother, a just mistress and benevolent 
neighbor. But it has pleased God to take her to himself, where she will be at 
rest.
