Died

On the 8th ult. in Nash County after a lingering illness of the Typhus kind 
which he bore with becoming resignation, Mr. Matthew Drake, a respectable 
citizen in the 29th year of his age. He was a man whose moral deportment, was 
worthy of immitation, and whose candid and undisembled friendship will be 
acknowledged by all who had a knowledge of his character.
