HAMPTON - Judy Ann Rich Frye, 60, departed this life on Saturday, Nov. 3, 
2007, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Judy was born in Nash County, N.C. and was a Hampton resident for 57 years. 
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was a passionate 
grandmother to her two young granddaughters.

Judy was preceded in death by her father and mother, Adron and Viola Rich; her 
older sister, Ida Mae (Boots) Benthall; and her older brother, Adron (Ham) 
Rich Jr.

Judy leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 39 years, William Frye, of 
Hampton; and her son, Jody Frye and his wife, Tammy, of Hampton; her two 
precious granddaughters, Kaylee and Emily Frye, of Hampton; two sisters, Doris 
Rich, of Hampton, Frankie Shye and her husband, Howard, of Hampton; a sister-
in-law, Sondra Rich, of Hampton.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Parklawn 
Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov 5 
at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton.
