He is survived by his wife, Hattie S. Glasgow; three sons, Roy Glasgow of Norfolk, and Clayton and John Glasgow of Huntington, W. Va.; three sisters, Mrs. C.O. King of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and Mrs. H.W. Strickland and Miss Lizzie Glasgow of Rocky Mount, N.C.; four brothers, A.E. Glasgow of Nashville, N.C., T.C. Glasgow of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and H.P. and R.D. Glasgow of Rocky Mount, N.C.; and six grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Glasgow were held at the Boykins Baptist Church on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with the pastor, Rev. N.B. Habel, officiating, in the presence of an unusually large number of friends and acquaintances. The casket was covered with a pall of white chrysanthemums and white aster. The choir sang a number of selections, accompanied by Mrs. Earl W. Bryant at the organ. Burial was in Nashville, N.C. Active pallbearers were Waverly Bunch, J.M. White, Amos Barnes, James Griffin, Clyde Lassiter, L.P. Modlin, Jr., and Linwood Lee. Honorary pallbearers were the members of the Men’s Bible class.
