Raleigh Standard 17  Feb. 1864
    DIED, at the Hospital in Wilmington, February 7th of typhoid fever, Orderly
Sergeant G. H. PITTS, of Co. B., 66th N. C. T. He was a native of Nash County, 
N. C., and entered service at the beginning of the war and was soon made 
Orderly Sergeant, which office he held at the time of his death. He leaves an 
aged father, brothers and sisters to mourn their loss.
