Newport News -- Della Maye Richardson, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior 
Monday, May 28, 2007, at 6 p.m.

Born in Spring Hope, NC, she had been a longtime Peninsula resident since the 
early 1950s.  She had recently relocated to Florida for medical reasons to 
live with her son and daughter-in-law.  She was a homemaker and dedicated 
mother who loved spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memories are her devoted sons, William T., Jr. of Haines 
City, FL (Barbara) and Larry D. of Atlanta, GA; and a loving daughter, 
JacQ'uie of Naples, FL; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a 
host of caring nieces and nephews.

In lieu of a funeral or memorial service, per her request, the children will 
embrace private memories.  Cards, letters and flowers may be sent to the 
family c/o William Richardson Jr., 3500 Baker Avenue, Haines City, FL  33844.

Cremation arrangements will be conducted by Holmes Funeral Home, 601 Claude 
Holmes Sr. Avenue, Haines City, FL.
