Funeral Information, Bowling Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, NC, May 25, 1999
Dorothy Jean Batchelor Skipper, 62, died Saturday, May 22, 1999 at Nash 
General Hospital.  She was born September 26, 1936 in Nash County, the 
daughter of the late Larry Lee Batchelor and Nollie Jones Batchelor.  She was 
a member of Bearean Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Jo Martin of 
Battleboro; three brothers, Donald Lee Batchelor of Seaford, VA, William Earl 
Batchelor of Davisonville, MD, and Mike Batchelor of Nashville, NC; one 
sister, Jackie B. Jackson of Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren, Brandy and 
Kelly Martin.

Funeral service held 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 25, 1999, Bowling Funeral Home 
Chapel, Rocky Mount, NC, Rev. John Sessoms officiating.  Pallbearers:  Ed 
Strickland, Charles Pollard, Buddy Moss, Pee Wee Strickland, Wayne Moss, Kelly 
Parker. Burial at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
