The Standard of Raleigh  Oct. 15, 1862
   Died at his residence near Peach Tree Grove, Nash County, N.C. on the 5th 
inst. of consumption, MCCULLOR STONE, ESQ. in the 76th year of his age.
   The subject of this notice served in the War of 1812, and at the close of 
the war, he returned home to his numerous friends and relatives, where he 
enjoyed the pleasures of a quiet life to a ripe old age. At the last General 
Assembly he was appointed Justice of the Peace for Nash County, which office 
he held up to the time of his death. The deceased was thrice married, and 
leaves a widow and numerous friends to mourn his irreparable loss.
