JASPER RUDOLPH WILLIAMS

   DREWRYVILLE – A funeral service for Jasper Rudolph Williams was conducted 
Monday at 1 p.m. in Echols Funeral Home, Emporia, by the Rev. Daniel Spell. 
Burial was in Whitaker Cemetery, Whitaker, N.C.

   Pallbearers were Peter Thomas, Bert Ramsy, Owen Johnson, P.J. Maddox, 
Robert Claude, Arthur Gaskins, Carol Harrup and Jimmy Williams.

   Williams, 70, died Saturday in a Richmond hospital.

   A native of Nash County, N.C. he was a son of James R. and Mrs. Lela 
Stalling Williams and the husband of Mrs. Lela Baker Williams.

   He was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church.

   Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marion Mayle of 
Hampton; two sons, Rufus Mike Williams of Glen Burnie, Md., and James R. 
Williams of Emporia three brothers, Darrell Williams of Whitaker, N.C.; and 
Weddle Williams and Ollie William of Rocky Mount, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
